# Get Stepstone job scrape status
> Poll the status and results of a Stepstone job search
Poll until `status` is `COMPLETED` or `FAILED`. The `result` field is populated on completion.
Page through the returned jobs with the `limit` (1–50, default 25) and `offset` query params; the response echoes `limit`, `offset`, and `has_more`.
`result.total_found` is how many jobs **this run** stored — the set `limit`/`offset` page against — not how many matches Stepstone advertised for the search. The board's own match count is larger and is not what pagination is computed from.
**Polling guidance:** Check every 15–30 seconds. Searches that fetch full descriptions take a little longer than listing-only ones.
An empty `jobs` array means the search matched nothing. If Stepstone refused the request instead, the run still completes but `result.warnings` says so explicitly — treat a warning there as "retry shortly", not as "no jobs found".
